Description
Drops the database named by the db
parameter.
This function is deprecated. It is preferable to use
mysql_query()
to issue an SQL
DROP DATABASE
statement instead.
Return Values
Zero if the database was dropped successfully. Nonzero if an error occurred.
Errors
Commands were executed in an improper order.
The MySQL server has gone away.
The connection to the server was lost during the query.
An unknown error occurred.
