Vowel inventories are usually displayed on a quadrilateral whose axes represent height and backness. The package provides methods for plotting vowels on the standard IPA vowel quadrilateral. Commands are provided for plotting both the IPA cardinal vowels, and vowels at arbitrary positions on the chart.

The package is distributed as part of the tipa font distribution.
