The package enables incorporation of encapsulated PostScript in LaTeX or Plain TeX documents whose output is destined for a PostScript printer. This functionality is typically nowadays offered by the LaTeX graphics package and its derivatives.

The package also provides a means of bundling all files of a document into a single file for transmission by Email or the like.
