There are two main groups of parameters that can be set here: SQL properties, and query editor properties. SQL properties that can be set include the SQL_MODE, case sensitivity of identifiers, and the SQL delimiter used (by default this is $$). The query editor properties that can be set include row limits, whether to display Metadata schemata, field value lengths and DBMS keep-alive interval. There are also options allowing you to enable the Data Changes Commit Wizard, and whether to continue or not should an error occur while executing SQL code.
