System values GUI

The system value components in the vaccess package allow a Java program to create GUIs by using the existing AS400Panes or by creating your own panes using the Java Foundation Classes(JFC). The VSystemValueList object represents a system value list on the server.

To use the System Value GUI component, set the system name with a constructor or through the setSystem() method.

Example

The following example creates a system value GUI using the AS400Explorer Pane: 
//Create an AS400 object
AS400 mySystem = newAS400("mySystem.myCompany.com"); 
VSystemValueList mySystemValueList = new VSystemValueList(mySystem);
as400Panel=new AS400ExplorerPane((VNode)mySystemValueList);
//Create and load an AS400ExplorerPane object
as400Panel.load();
