Velocity by Kyle Davis v0.1

Manage your data with power, precision, and Velocity.

What is Velocity? (other than a really cool project name)
Velocity is a port of the GFileRunner (gfilerunner.sourceforge.net) file
manager to the wonderful GNOME 2 platform.
Velocity is (going to be) a very fast, powerful, and highly configurable
   alternative file/desktop manager.

Why?
The main reason I started this project is because I like the power behind
Nautilus and other file managers in Linux but none of them allow enough
user settings or they are either too slow or not powerful enough.

Whats planned?
Basically I want to make this file manager the newly adopted GNOME file
   manager.

Suggestions?
I love to get suggestions, comments, and criticisms. Feel free to drop
me an email at kyled@blueriver.net or if you have AIM or GAIM
(you can get GAIM at http://gaim.sourceforge.net/), "velocityfiler" is one
of the IM names I regularly log in as. If you're feeling really lucky you
can try to catch me on irc.gnome.org under the #velocity channel. I'll try
to get on IRC often but no promises.
As always, you can check http://velocity.sourceforge.net/ for updates and news.
