Stompboxes2 QuickStart.

* INTRO

So you want to try stompboxes2 ?? Ok, but be warned the immature
stage of the project might turn your speakers into the most
annoying noise making maCHine that ever existed. If instead of
that being a problem, that makes you happy, then read on: this
program is made with YOU in mind:

Some concepts:

* THE FLOOR:

The main screen is the FLOOR, where you can put your stompboxes and
connect them together. At startup, you will have 2 main stompboxes,
the MAIN INPUT and the MAIN OUTPUT. You can add more stompboxes to the
floor by clicking on the "Add Stompbox" button on the main toolbar, or
by right clicking on the floor and selecting the "Add A Stompbox"
option.

* THE STOMPBOXES

The stompboxes are composed of 2 main areas. The body and the
connections area. By clicking stompboxes on the body and dragging
them, you can move them around. By right-clicking on the body area, you
will activate a popup menu with several options for that specific stompbox.

The connection areas are placed to the left (input connections) and to
the right (output connections). By clicking and dragging the
connection areas, you will be able to connect stompboxes together. A
connection will be made when you drop the connection line that you
started onto another stompbox's connection area (Use common sense
here: connections from inputs to inputs wont' work).

To turn on the magic, just push the ON button on the toolbar...

A few things to remember:

- Mixers are your friends (I use gmix to mute the mic and set it as
  the recording source).
- If you would like to write more plugins PLEASE DO!!!, there is a
  nullplugin.c file with a template of how it works. Also, please keep
  in mind that the plugin API might change, always check plugin.h for
  the most current specifications. If you write any more plugins, or
  want to do it, let me know.

 Have fun with the program !!!
