21 April 2001
  V0.9-pre8

Yes, yes, yes you are right, this is a very bad release.
This version doesn't have eggs crashed on the lens, but i
think (hope) we are in the right way to get a working version.
The initialization data was changed to reach the size
adjustable but the result isn't perfect.
The half sizes (160x120 and 176x144) doesn't work.
A lot of debug messages was added for help users ( that saint
peolpe that want to crash his system) to discover bugs.
And about the colors, ...well... bad news i think it will need
  a long time...
Another think was added.... the best viewer for quickcams was
modify only for the VC, it doesn't want to substiture the good
work of the developers, but i need some specs for the the VC.

30 March 2001
  V0.9-pre7

Add and disabled the mmap feature until a YUV method coversion
will be found for use with xawtv/like programs.
A lot of research to get RGB components was made and we
reach a very bad colors but i think we are in the correct way.
We loose a lot of time thinking about a YCrCb -> RGB converter
but colors seems to be in plained mode, with some bits
  are exchanged.
Brightness and exposure time was adjusted, but exposure time
value need to be converted in a math function.
Jonathan Guthrie submit a patch for use the driver with 2.2.19
  kernel.
